Mazda CX-9 Places 1st on World-Acclaimed 'Affordable Midsize SUVs' List

Let's be honest, there are lots of options to choose from when it comes to SUVs today.  Therefore, it takes quite a bit to be noticed. The new 2012 Mazda CX-9 does what it takes however with great drivability, a good looking exterior, the latest technology, and leading safety features. Its actually gone as grabbing the attention of the critics at U.S. News and World Report, a publication which just featured the vehicle at the top of its "Affordable Midsize SUVs" list.

U.S New and World Reportis not the only entity to take notice of the  Mazda CX-9, either.  Given that it blends the tight handling and on-a-dime responsiveness enjoyed in sporty Mazda sedans (i.e., the Mazda 3 and Mazda 5) and the versatility and room of an SUV, it's routinely reviewed as one of the most aggressive options in its class.

A few quick specs include: room for seven passengers, available blind-spot monitoring, Bluetooth, up to 24 mpg hwy, and roll stability control among many other features. Moreover, Mazda provides ample room for those passengers sitting in the third row. Moreover, if you want the room but don't want the low gas mileage, the Japanese auto maker is looking to create a new CX variant to market this February. Actually, you are probably already familiar with this model, which is called the Mazda CX-5.  It will come equipped with SKYACTIV technology, which includes a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, petrol-powered engine expected to deliver 33 miles per gallon (mpg). That's an increase of nine mpg highway over the current Mazda CX-9.
